Blade II

film (10k image)It wasn’t a bad movie, but it was not as awesome as the first. The whole Whistler thing bugs and it bugs throughout the entire movie. I don’t want to give it away but he should have stayed evil. The fight scenes looked good but moved too fast to comfortably watch. They are always trying to out do ‘The Matrix’. The computer graphics were good but distracting. There is a big difference between the real Wesley and the graphed Wesley. The story line was interesting but used. Father uses son. Father damns son. Son seeks revenge. The story needed to explain more why certain things were in existence. I guess this is the producers way of selling the comic book. Sneeky bastards. Cause they hooked me into seeking out a copy and getting the whole story on this Blade character. The movie was not terrible and it was not a blockbuster hit. Although I am disappointed in the sequel I can’t wait for the third Blade to arrive.

I don’t recommend the movie to be watched in the theater but consider it a rental on ‘one of those nights.’

Mocking The Guilty Dog Woman

I was pleased to hear that that killer-dog breeding couple was found guilty of all charges today. I normally don’t like to pass judgement and stuff, but I’ve come to the conclusion that these people are about the most despicable dickheads imaginable. For those who were still on the fence about their sentiment towards this case, here’s a quick vileness reference sheet.

Resident Evil

film (10k image)I wanted to put in my two cents regarding the smash hit Resident Evil. I loved it! It is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It does start out a little slow and confusing but it gradually starts to kick some serious ass. One thing though, that Michelle Rodriguez chick really sucks. Now that charges of assault and battery have been placed upon her, directors will get a clue and stop working with her. But that is neither here nor there. Milla was great as the star role. Her minimal dialogue and beautiful facial expressions and great body language were breathtaking. My favorite part in the movie is the part where…..well maybe I shouldn’t say…..I don’t want to give a way the movie.

I recommend that everyone buy a ticket to see the movie and then buy the movie on DVD. I wonder if the game sucks..?

I like cinnamon rolls.

Phet and I just went out and got cinnamon rolls. They were real good, especially since it was all cold and a tiny bit drizzly outside.

We went to Claudia’s in Horton Plaza, which is awesome because they sell rolls the size of your head for $2.75, with lots of icing. Plus, if the parking validation dealie usually has ticket for an additional cini-mini, so really, where can you go wrong? If I’m forced to, I’ll occasionally get a cinnamon roll from Cinnabon at UTC, but they are nowhere as cool. Their rolls are more expensive and smaller and with insufficient icing and they have the temerity to try and sell extra icing for, like 50 cents. And don’t you buy into that exotic Makara cinnamon rap. It’s all a smokescreen for corporate evilness.

Gosh, I really like cinnamon rolls.

Have iPod, Will Secretly Bootleg

Some kid in Texas took his iPod (basically, the coolest portable mp3 player on the market–a 5 GB hard drive with FireWire) into a store, connected it to a display Mac, and stole software from it.

According to this article, “When the iPod is plugged into a Macintosh, its icon automatically pops up on the desktop. To copy software, all the kid had to do was drag and drop files onto the iPod’s icon. Office for MacOS X is about 200 MB; it copies to the iPod’s hard drive in less than a minute. “
